Blog of the Week

I was looking online for a new blog of the week when I somehow stumbled on this gem. I am a font geek, admittedly. From the minute I took my Typography class at UTA my Freshman year I was hooked. And I created the absolutely most perfect form of my name in Times New Roman font, all hand drawn by me. It hung proudly in the display case for two weeks. I have no idea where that is now and it kills me! Anyway. I love typography (have I said that?) and am particularly picky about what fonts I use in different things which I hope will somehow show through the things I create. Blog of the Week

After reading Jenny's blog this morning I remembered it's time for Blog of the Week! By the way you should totally read Jenny's because it's super funny. But I bring you a more serious blog, Sheye Rosemeyer's Photoblog. I found this site on Molly's Favorite Things under her daily reads and it has become one of mine. As I was scrolling through all her beautiful pictures, there were many references to her daughter who had passed away. I looked through her archives to her posts about what happened and the days after and even now. A tragic accident happened to their family and her words are so beautiful. It makes you want to cry and hug your kids and be grateful for them and their little spirits! Enjoy!

Blog of the Week

I can't believe it's already Friday! Well it sure has been an entertaining weather week for all of us Texans and as much as I love having snow, I'm happy to see the sunshine again! And let's bring a little fun and sunshine to you guys on a cool Friday morning. Today I bring you the Shoebox Greeting Card Company's Blog! I just laugh and laugh as I keep scrolling and they only get funnier. ManBlog will really appreciate this one! You gotta keep in mind that some of it can be a little racy (really not that bad though) and for those contributors on the ManBlog they are also having a competition to create a funny greeting card. To which I say: Challenge! I love their Newsdroppings, so be sure to read those! Enjoy!

Blog of the Week

Today I bring you an oldie but a goodie. Some of you who have been around since the beginning will know about this one because I used to link to it on the original Fowkes' blog. So without further adieu I bring you Stuff on My Cat. Some of them are crazy hilarious and others are just Eh, but all in all it makes for a great waste of time on a sunny Friday! It was loading a bit slow this morning so hopefully you will have better luck than I did. Make sure you read the headlines!
