Noni Juice–ever heard of it?
They recently opened a Tahitian Noni Juice Cafe a couple of miles away from my work. I was intrigued about what it was so google'd it. Turns out it's headquarters is in Provo, Utah and they aren't open on Sundays. And it turns out it might just be a multi-billion dollar pyramid scheme started by some money hungry Mormons in Utah. Are they trying to make us look bad? I won't be spending any money at that cafe I can say that much!
From a website dedicated to the stuff: A World Wide Warning
Is there a link between Utah, Mormons, Pyramid Schemes, and Noni Juice? Very often we run into evidence that links Mormons to the sales and marketing of Noni Juice using a tightly knit network of people who are skilled in the art of "networking." We have listed a few articles and various public discussions on the subject. Overall we think it serves as a basis for dealers who treat their Noni sales as if it was a religion, along with all the fanaticism that unfortunately is often associated with the mixing of religion and money.
I don't necessarily agree with the website and how it portrays Mormons, of course, but the official site does make you think about what their intentions really are and some Utah Mormons do tend to get a little carried away with that weird health stuff. Noni Juice For Health
Mormons are the easiest target for pyramid schemes. I hope you didn't taste the stuff. It's like barf in a wine bottle. Somehow they sell it as miracle juice. Sounds like a crackpot scheme to me.
