So I'm sitting at my desk at work and it's SO HOT in here. The power went out last night and they only got the a/c up and running this morning so it hasn't quite cooled off yet. Actually, that's probably an understatement, it's really warm. I am a little excited though. It's been quite an eventful month. I'm finishing up the Texas Girls Choir Gazette today and taking it to the printer tonight. For anyone that doesn't know I do this, it's a freelance job I got from a referral at the printer that prints Mom's newspaper. The typesetter they had needed to drop some projects so Mom recommended me to take it over. Thank you Mom! I'll get paid for that soon and we'll keep the cash on hand for after the baby comes. The TX Girls Choir folks are really cheesy, but they needed a new typestter because their paper looked HORRIBLE and now they're really happy with what I've done, thankfully!
Tomorrow is also my work shower. Mom and John are both coming and I'm really glad they can both make it. John got the day off of work so he can come to my two dr appointments that morning (specialist then OB) since he hasn't been to one in a while. Then he'll drop me off at work and then come back later for the shower. 27 people rsvp'd for the shower and I'm really excited. Mom's excited about the pedifores. John and I couldn't be more grateful for everyone's support and we feel really spoiled!
I'm hoping to get a call sometime tomorrow about Randi! How fun that she'll have her baby the same day as my shower and then we can all go and visit her (if she's up for it!) after the shower. Okay, maybe Thursday would be better. :) Just let us know, Randi, and we'll definitely keep you in our prayers!
