I was talking to Melinda on the phone earlier today and was very flattered when she told me that Danny thinks Ben is a very cute baby. Coming from someone who doesn't think babies are cute in general, I thought that was a nice compliment. I was thinking about that as Ben was laying on my chest asleep earlier this evening. He's been in a really "I need my mommy" phase the past couple of days (and as long as it doesn't keep him from sleeping in his own bed) I love it. John and I feel so blessed that we have such an adorable and most importantly, healthy and happy baby. 
Then 5 minutes later he was awake and screaming because he was hungry. That's life with a newborn though. John just got home from a night of off-roading with his Jeep buddies. He needed a break! John's been great, I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad for Ben.
