Something like this would happen to us!
Our babysitter's husband works for Price Watterhouse Cooper. His job is a lot like Brian's. He goes away on jobs for 4-6 weeks at a time to do audits of companies. PWC will pay for his wife and son to go with him and they usually stay a week. Jan forewarned me this would be a possibility when she first started watching Ben. But time passed and he never got assigned so she thought they were in the clear because tax season is close and they'll need to be in the office. Well, Tuesday her husband gets a call from work and they tell him that they're putting him on a job in Puerto Rico and the entire family can go for the duration, and they're leaving Saturday. Saturday! So now I'm left with the job of finding a babysitter for 6 weeks until they get back. I will be talking to one of Jan's neighbors who is in our ward and will see what she feels she can take on. I really pray this all works out because with how things have gone for me over the past month I need as little stress as possible! Jan was genuinely sad to have to go (even though their hotel is on the beach!!) because she will miss Ben. She and her son, Jared, love Ben so much and we couldn't be more grateful to have such a wonderful family watching him.
I want to go to Puerto Rico!
Man! But in the mean time, I would LOVE to watch Ben. Okay... I know you do not want to take advantage of family but I really would not mind doing it... and it may allow you all to save a little money for a month an a half. Just let me know... I would have no problem with it! Love ya!

Missy, I've been there and done that! At least she's coming back! I've had baby-sitters just quit on me! It is THE most stressful thing, in my opinion, to find a suitable sitter for your child! If you can't find anyone else, I can help on Mondays and Thursdays! Good luck!
