Is today Monday?

This morning I was following my usual routine of taking the diaper bag, bouncer and my purse downstairs and putting it in the car. I start the car head back up, get Ben and come down, put him in and off we go to the babysitter. But this morning was a different morning. I do the usual, put the stuff in the car head up to get Ben come down and wait a second...all the doors are locked! That's impossible! The doors don't automatically lock, I always turn the car on, I didn't lock the doors when I closed them. What the heck happened? I'm in a big conundrum. I'm standing at my car and it's running and has my purse AND cell phone inside. I thankfully wasn't locked out of the house, but my house keys were in my purse. So I went to my neighbors house and called John. Neither of us knew what to do. We don't have a spare key to my car (we're getting one now) because they cost like $60 (darn that special anti-theft microchip)! So he came home and worked on the door for about half an hour to no avail. We finally decide to call a locksmith and he takes over an hour to get there...and it took him about 20 seconds to open it! So frustrating...

Anyway. So that's been the end to my crazy week. I have had NO voice for the past 3 days, but am a little better today. Unfortunately I probably won't have enough voice for our Christmas program where I was going to sing in a women's sextet with the First Noel/Pachelbel's Canon. I was so excited too, we sound so pretty! Hopefully I'll be better by Sunday!

But on a happier note, here's a photo of Ben's "soaphawk" (inspired by my co-worker Kelly Murphy) in the bath last night. It was taken with a cell phone so hopefully you get the point!

What a crappy morning! I hope the rest of your day was better!
