SIGH
Babysitting is a VERY stressful thing. It's hard enough to find someone that will actually babysit these days, let alone find someone that you like and trust.
We've been very blessed to have a wonderfu babysitter, Jan, who is so cheap it's ridiculous. Her only problem is that her husband's job is very inconsistent so they go out of town a LOT. But we've also been blessed to have a great back-up babysitter, Stacie, who lives in the same apartment complex. Well, Stacie has been going through a lot trying to get pregnant and whatnot and she called me today to tell me that she couldn't be back-up anymore. I was honestly really upset (though she had no idea, because we'd been getting the vibe that she didn't really want to babysit anymore.) So now we're stuck without a babysitter for next week and parts of February, and are honestly thinking that we may just look for a new babysitter all together because Jan is so inconsistent (even though she's wonderful!). It's something that we will be praying that we can find, because honestly, we don't have a choice! Double sigh.
I'm still avaliable any time you need me... and the kids need more time together... maybe Ben can teach Mary how to crawl and pull herself up! ;-) I am sorry you are having baby sitter woes! I will be praying for you too!
I totally feel your pain! Finding good baby-sitters is hard! I'm always free Monday, Thursday, and Friday if you need some help. Tommy could use a playmate. I could meet you in the middle somewhere. Good luck!
It's funny because I was talking to Jan today who talked to Stacie yesterday and Stacie was telling her how her son was getting very jealous and actually hit Ben a couple of times and that the clomid she is on has really been messing with her hormone levels...all reasons she wanted to stop babysitting. But she didn't tell ME any of it! So strange. But anyway. Thanks for the offers. Jan will be here Monday so I'll let you guys know if I need anyone to help. I may be able to take a day or two off, or go in after John gets home, we will see! You guys are great, as always!
Hang in there, Missy. You'll be blessed.
