Small Blessings

Big Ben, which he was deemed by our specialist in the womb, is definitely living up to his name. He just won't stop growing, which means I am constantly having to buy him new clothes. I've been really blessed in finding awesome deals the last three places I've shopped for him.

1. The Children's Place (at Grapevine Mills)– It's the $9.99 and under sale, but a TON of it was an additional 50% off, making the cute little cargo shorts a mere $3.50. They also had shirts and polos for $2-$3.

2. Target– There's a great Target close to work at NW Hwy and Skillman. It doesn't get a lot of traffic so they have more clearance. I three things for under $10 (hoodie, jeans, shorts) and four things for Tommy for about $8! (No Melinda, you don't ow me anything)

3. Macy's– Surprising yes, but the Macy's at NorthPark had two 80% off racks and I got two footed sleepers, two t-shirts and a pair of cords for $11! They have a brand, GreenDog, that's comparable to Kohl's prices so their stuff marked down super cheap!

This, Mandie, is one reason why it's great to have a boy. At all of these places the good deals for girls were minimal. People buy way too many clothes for girls and little boys all get the shaft. I think clothes for boys are way cuter than the girls stuff anyway. But I'm thankful that I found some really good deals and I'll keep looking and let everyone know when I find things!
