Breathing a Sigh of Relief

I told most of you this yesterday, but to update anyone who hasn't heard the latest news, we found a babysitter! I do a monthly newsletter for our Relief Society and my friend Kelli Taylor is the editor. I send the newsletter to her to proof before I send it to the lady to get it copied off. Jan Brinkerhoff, our RS president, wrote a little note to add to the announcements about us needing a babysitter (though not naming us by name because of the circumstances with our old sitter). So I ship it off to Kelli and she calls me to let me know she was going to take a look at it in the next hour and if she didn't call back then it was good and to send it. Well she called about 5 minutes later and said she had seen the announcement and called Jan because she wanted to do it and Jan told her it was me! It was so funny! So we worked everything out and she started today! She has two boys, one 3 and one is 3 months so I didn't even think of asking her. For those of you who know Margie Whites (now Margie Anderson), Kelli is her sister-in-law (Margie married Kelli's brother). The small world circle never ends.

We are so excited! I think I even cried on Saturday after I talked to her it was such a relief. Kelli's worked at a daycare before and she's so nice and the most important things are that Ben is with someone who is a good member of the church and someone we trust rather than a stranger. And the fact that we will be saving almost $200/month NOT having to go to a registered daycare is a huge plus too!

Wahoo! I am glad that you found someone you like and trust. I am sad because it means I go back to not seeing Ben for long stretches... maybe we will just need to get together more. :-) I am glad you found someone- that is great!

We will definitely have to get together! I feel bad that you know Ben so well, but I have had little chance to get to know Mary! That will fun to get to do, especially since they are all turning into such grown up little kids!
