On Saturday night we had dinner with Mandie and Brian to spend a little time with them before the baby is born. We had a good time grilling at the park down the street and the babies played on the playground. When we got back to their house we put Abby and Ben in the bathtub together which was an insane amount of fun for them! I think Ben got a little TOO excited, though. Ben and Abby had been chasing each other around the house and Mandie needed to give Abby a little downtime before she went to sleep so I picked Ben up to read him a book but saw this weird stuff on his back (he was in a sleeper) and smelled something funny and it turns out that he had pooped right after I got him dressed and it went all the way up his back and in the midst of crawling and rolling around had rubbed it onto their carpet too! It was the grossest diaper ever! I felt SO awful that Ben had practically pooped on their floor, but Mandie didn't seem phased, thankfully. Hopefully there will not be many more instances like that. Antibiotics do a number on babies and their bowels! Gross!!
