Superstition

I'm not sure how many people actually know this about me, but I have a tendency to be superstitious about certain things. Or rather, that if something bad happens when I'm wearing a certain thing or doing a certain thing, I tend to be wary of them. For example, I have this pair of socks that the two times I have ever worn them, bad things have happened. I can't remember the specifics, but I had one of the worst days while wearing those socks which included my car breaking down and John hurting himself at work! They happen to be San Francisco socks Mom bought me since that's where John served his mission. I will never wear those socks again! Well, last night when I was getting Ben ready for bed, most of his pajamas were in the dirty clothes and so I stuck him in a pair of pj pants and a mis-matching orange shirt for lack of anything else better to do. He was running around in the pants, which are a little long for him and he kept slipping and falling on his butt and once in the kitchen he fell all the way back onto his head. To make matters worse, during the night he kept waking up and would be really hard to console and I have no idea why! He woke up at 11:30 (which John said I slept through), 2:30 (that time took 45 minutes to get him back down, only for him to wake up again at 3:30), the for good at 6:30. I was pretty frustrated and just so tired. I know it has nothing to do with his pjs, but I'm not taking any chances! He's never wearing them again!
