Random Musings on a Monday Night
I'm sitting here at John's laptop on our bed, Ben finally asleep, and I'm procrastinating cleaning the kitchen from having the missionaries over for dinner (thanks for the cherry stuff, Mom, it was great!) I've been really busy at work the past week so I haven't had a lot of time to post. Thankfully things are starting to slow down a bit till our next two magazines Travel Connoisseur and The Land Report start shipping again. I'm hoping the week goes by fast, but I'm really sad that John is leaving town on Friday to go to New Mexico with Mark for some more guy-time fly fishing. It's going to suck! But he's done it before so I can't complain and he's promised me a super awesome vacation during our Christmas vacations. Anyone have any good ideas of where we can go, Ben in tow? And I have our wards Enrichment Super Saturday to look forward to this weekend. I'm probably bringing Ben (which should be interesting!) but our Super Saturdays are always great and the whole presidency has to be there to help out where we can. I'm really happy to have a calling again at church, it's been fun already and it's good to be involved and have great people to work with!
I know I haven't posted pictures recently, but the rechargable batteries for our camera have seen their last day and I keep forgetting to buy new ones! I'm sure I've missed a lot of adorable moments of Ben, but I'll get some batteries soon so I can post more pictures! I do have a couple of little design things I've done for Danny and Mandie that came out pretty cool that I will post tomorrow. I'm starting the Texas Girls Choir Gazette typesetting this week and I always enjoy that project (not to mention it will mean vacation money!)
I was pretty happy with the results of SYTYCD tonight. I was sad to see Lauren go and wished it was Lacey instead, but I really think Danny is my favorite. He's just such a GREAT dancer! Like Mandie, I'm going to be so sad to see the show go away till next summer, but I'll always have it to look forward to!
