A Crazy Night and a Pumpkin Patch
We live in a fairly safe and calm condominium complex. But there have been times when our neighbors have gotten a little carried away. Last night was one of those nights. Imagine a few drunken college students partying directly across balconies from you until, oh, say 5:30am. We left our sliding door open because the air was so chilly last night and were rudely awakened from about 12:30am and beyond. After we closed the door we could still here everything. Luckily, I was able to go back to sleep, but for John, it was another story. He went and sat on the couch and watched TV, but they were still making a ton of noise. He didn't want to call the police (though now thinks he should have) and even resorted to driving around at 3:00am to find the police officer that's supposed to be patrolling 24/7. No police officer. I think John finallly fell asleep watching The Illusionist but only got about 3 or 4 hours of sleep. If they ever do anything like it again, we'll definitely be calling the cops.
Earlier in the evening I was talking to Mandie and she said the McMurdies were going to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch and wanted to see if we were interested. We had actually just talked about going to the pumpkin patch so we tagged along. Needless to say, John didn't exactly have the best time because he was exhausted and Ben got a little restless. But Ben thoroughly enjoyed himself and we're excited to take him next year when he'll be a little more cooperative! I think the funnest part was getting to see him interact with all of the kids there, and even Abby! Here are a few pics as highlights. I'll post more when Mandie sends me the ones she took (hint, hint!)
Such cute pictures! And where do you get his cute clothes? I love that top!
I got the shirt at Target (of course!) after realizing I don't have a lot of winter clothes for him!
I wish my family could have gone with you guys, but Tommy's sick and Danny and I had to teach. It looks like you had a fun time!
It is too bad that John had such a bad night sleep. I hope your neighbors do not pull all nighters regularly. Needless to say it looks like you guys made some good memories at the pumpkin patch.
Very cute pics! You should take him to Boo at the Zoo in Fort Worth! It's so cute! We do it every year for Halloween!
PS. Let's do that lunch date soon! I'm also up for a playdate!! Let me know when is good for u!
Really cute pictures. I love that black and white one. It looks like ya'll went to the one next to the one we went to.
