I think this is absolutely ridiculous!

I still can't believe that this story was in my news headlines today. Al Gore wins the Nobel Peace Prize? Sheesh. What is the world coming to? Next thing you know Hillary will be President and then I may just die! The conservative blood that flows through me is cursing right now!

I had a little chuckle to myself over that one as well. Seriously, like Mandie said, there IS always Canada.

Yeah, but Canada has socialized medicine! Maybe Mexico... ;)

Or France! (TOTALLY kidding.)

Don’t worry about Hillary - Al Gore is reportedly gonna run and catch up and win! By the way, he was co-winner or something like that.

Now, come on. Doesn't the man who invented the internet deserve a little respect?
Okay, enough with the sarcasm. I'm just a litle confused at what he won the Nobel PEACE Prize for? What has he done to help world peace? I understand his whole global warming thing, but that has nothing to do with world peace. It's more science related. And, if it's not "real" enough science to win the science prize than he doesn't deserve to win anything. Just add it to the list of things that he doesn't deserve to win (which also includes the Presidency). Grr...

You can make the argument that the best thing that ever happened to Al Gore is his defeat in the 2000 presidential election. If he hadn't lost he would not have had so much time to waste on his global warming agenda. Martin Luther King won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for preaching non-violence during the Civil Rights movement. Mother Teresa won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her work with the poor of India. Betty Williams and Mairead Corrigan won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976 for their work in forcing a peace in Northern Ireland. Good thing Al Gore wasted the resources of the U.N scientists who shared the Nobel Peace Prize Friday, I mean it's like a slap in the face to those that have worked so hard before. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed for his stand, and the others have given their lives to there causes not just pushed an agenda to "better" a presidential resume.

Wow, who knew John was such a great writer? Well said! Maybe you should become a presidential speech writer.
