Saying goodbye to my glasses
This morning John and I decided that we would go to Sam's for lunch. We do that every now and then and it's fun to browse and get all of the free samples. We were in the living room playing with Ben when I looked down next to the couch and saw two ear pieces for glasses. I held them up and asked John if they were his, afraid that Ben had broken the glasses John got less than 6 months ago. He said, No, I'm pretty sure they're yours. GREAT! They were completely broken off of the frames! Ben, for some reason, woke up at 3:30 this morning and neither of us really got back to sleep very fast after that so when Ben woke up for good at 7am I turned on cartoons gave him his sippy cup and laid back in bed for another 45 minutes or so. It was my fault for leaving my glasses where he could get them and leaving him to play by himself for a little while because I was so tired! 
So not only will we be going to Sam's this morning for free samples, but I'll be getting an eye exam and contacts today as well! Hopefully I'll like having contacts so I won't have to get a pair of glasses any time soon. I loved those glasses. I am so sad they're broken!
I bet you'll love contacts, especially in the summer here. No glasses slipping off your sweaty nose. Been there, done that. Plus we'll be able to see your pretty eyes better! Next step-get lasik like me! Best thing ever!
I used to love going to Sam's for the samples. They really give you a good little lunch!
can I tell you how many pairs of glasses my boys have broken!!! All mark's glasses, not mine just yet, but it's crazy!!! The minute they get their hands on them they start to twist and turn and break it apart!! contacts are great!! You should totally get them!!
I can't even imagine you without glasses! They are like your trademark. But of course you'll look great in contacts, too.
You look adorable in your glasses, but I bet once you try contacts you'll love 'em. Glasses drive me crazy nowadays (they're always slipping down my nose!)
