Mission BISD: All Systems Go

Something totally cool is happening at BISD on Thursday. We are one of FOUR school districts in the United States that was picked to host a live in-flight satellite downlink from the International Space Station. I love stuff like this, so I'm really excited! The event is free to anyone who wants to go. It's really a once in a lifetime opportunity! Go here for more information!

Because of the position I am in at the District I got to design all of the promotional materials for this event, which was really fun. I was giddy excited to see the finished product of the first patch I have ever designed. Who knew a patch could bring so much joy? It looks awesome and I'm proud to say that I did it! Yes, I know I'm bragging, but come on, it looks cool!

Sweet. Nice badge. My Dad has worked with the international space station project for years. Enjoy the the space station downlink.

Dang, Missy, what an awesome opportunity! Because you're the webmaster, won't that mean that you'll kind of be spear-heading a big chunk of this thing? Badge looks great!
