Please don't do this to your children.

I was perusing Target.com looking at their Halloween costumes this morning. We haven't tried Ben's Mr. Incredible costume on him again (the one he wore last year that was too big that we were hoping to have him wear this year, too) but I have a feeling it's probably too small. We haven't found anything that he was super thrilled about and it'll pretty much be an impossible task to actually get him in a Halloween costume this year. But I implore everyone out there NOT to make your kids wear these:

And seriously, this just isn't funny!

Has anyone seen worse? Let's see them!

Oh my gosh! That air freshener one is horrible! I haven't seen that one before! We got a Party City "magazine" in the mail chock full of costumes and that is all the kids have been looking at! Good luck finding that perfect costume for Ben!

Those costumes are terrible!
I bought costumes for my boys last year that were a little big hoping to convince them to wear them again this year (or at least switch), but no. We're probably off to Party City to look for costumes, too.

Okay, maybe I have a warped sense of humor, but I like them (exits sheepishly).

Um, I'm with Kelli...I would totally dress one of the girls up in crazy costumes like that! Especially in the woopie cushion, that hilarious! When we have a 3rd kid...we are totally going as a BLT...James and I are the bread, Bella is Bacon, Aube is Lettuce and #3 is the tomato! (Thank you PBK!)

These are as bad as the pet costumes that Jay Leno makes fun of on the Tonight Show sometimes. Have a heart and don’t embarrass your kids!

Okay I'll admit that I thought of James when I posted the whoopie cushion. It's funny, but I keep envisioning a baby in one of those at a ward party and some 12-year old trying to be funny comes and sits on it! Not that that's even possible... but come on, Humpty Dumpty? I swear that baby was Photoshop'ed into that costume!

Hunter was the whoopie cushion one year.... and he was a chick magnet: a giant magnet with baby chicks stuck all over it.

Okay, Humpty Dumpty is not so great. Neither is the horse. But the rest are aces!!! (I just wanted to use that word...)

I guess now I understand why one of my 4th grade students told me he was going as a whoopie cushion for halloween--how dreadful.
