Monday Musings

I was sitting here thinking about what I could blog about on a Monday that started out pretty dreary and has turned quite beautiful outside. I can't think of anything. Plus I've been stuck on lists for so long I'm not sure I even know how to compose a proper sentence, let alone write a couple of paragraphs of nothing. Let's see.

I woke up Saturday morning after not getting much sleep with what I thought was what Ben had all week. All of my annoyance with his whining all week was suddenly gone once I realized how awful I felt. And I felt even more awful realizing I probably wouldn't be going to Enrichment that morning, or even to Zayn's 1st birthday party (I am still so so sad about that Mubeen!) But it was good to rest for a while and the only thing we really did was went to Target. I felt better Sunday and Ben has been feeling so good the last couple of days he's making up for his lack of energy all week by being completely hyperactive. It's so bizarre! I was actually really glad he went to school today so he can play outside! And run around in the gym! And annoy his teachers and not me!

I kid I kid. I'm really glad he's feeling better. I think I have another sinus infection (yay) so I'm still pretty miserable today. Ah well what can you do? I'm kind of sad I don't have the energy to take Ben to the park after work. Beside the fact that it's probably too muddy out anyway.

Anyone see the weather for tomorrow? It's supposed to get pretty bad. I hate driving the most when I have to do it in the rain. Like those few months back in '07 when it rained pretty much non-stop and the Trinity River in Dallas was at all-time high levels. I had to drive to Dallas every day in that poring down stuff and I hated it. But I was so happy when it all ended and the skies were pretty and blue again. Must be how Noah must have felt, I guess I can't complain.

I've taken a lot of sinus meds today, can you totally tell?

Anyway. I have a few pictures of poor sick Ben I never downloaded from my camera because I got sick. I'll still post a couple because he looked so sweet. And sad and sick and sweet. And one of the things that makes me feel better about not feeling better is that I have Monday off! A surprise President's Day present! I love these random days off we get. Makes the long stretch from January to Spring Break and Spring Break to Summer seem so much shorter.

Here's to a week with more blogging and more picture posts. I will see what I can do! :)
