Spring Break

This is technically Spring Break week for me, had I still had my old job. But it's been nice to be home, especially to be home with Ben. I'm still frantically searching for a new job and am realizing how dry the job market really is. I'm hoping something will come up soon, but in the meantime I'll be vising the unemployment offices on Monday! Someone hire me soon, please!

We've had a busy week so far, and have gotten to spend a lot of time together. I'm realizing pretty quickly what it's like to be a stay at home mom and my patience is wearing very thin! I am so lucky that John gets home so early in the day, right after Ben takes a nap so that has been great!

Wednesday was the highlight of our week so far. We watched our friend's three kids for the afternoon and had a lot of fun. Luckily John was home by then because Ben wouldn't take a nap and, well, he doesn't exactly do well without one! Ben cried when they had to go home.

That night we went with part of my family to Disney on Ice. I was a little worried about how our sleep deprived 2-year old would be, but he was great! We rode the train to the AAC with my mom, my niece Randi and her daughter, Mary, and Ben had so much fun. It was a million times better for him than the last time we went! We were soooo tired on the way home. Ben promptly fell asleep in the car on the quick drive home. Thank you Mom for the really fun treat! Ben just can't stop talking about it!
