Grateful Nov 9

Is it already Friday? Did I really miss two whole days?

I'm grateful for Ben. He's smart, charming, opinionated, social, frustrating, witty, and all around an awesome kid. He's doing really well in school. His writing is getting better and better. He can spell words I didn't think kindergartners even learned. He's easily frustrated by his sister but he's quick to apologize. He takes extremely long showers. He LOVES Legos and builds some really cool ships. The principal at his school calls him Hollywood because of his sunglasses he wears every day. He is instant friends with pretty much every kid he meets. He's very aware of when kids are misbehaving and it really bothers him. He always remembers prayer and scripture time and reads verses with us almost every night. He's averaging out in height so he's on the tall side of kids at school but he is definitely not the tallest. He annoys me all day with his tooting noises. He gets frustrated really easily when he can't do something or thinks he's not being listened to. His favorite thing to eat right now is chicken nugget sliders (I put three nuggets in a hot dog bun and tear them into 3 little sandwiches). He loves cookie dough. He is still quick to cry when he's in trouble then just wants a hug. He loves Halloween and dressing up. Next year he's going to be Anakin. He has the next two Halloweens planned out but I can't remember what they are. This year he was Jango Fett and he looked awesome! We just love this kid. He drives us crazy, makes us laugh hysterically, asks us a million questions, but we wouldn't trade him for the world. I'm so grateful he is the big brother of our family because he's going to be awesome at it.
