Baby Registries, Car Accidents, Snow Storms

In case anyone cares, John and I finished registering on Saturday. We're now registered at Pottery Barn Kids and Babies R Us. We braved the torrential rain to register at Babies R Us on Saturday and it was torture on my sciatic leg, but I made it through (lots of resting on the gliders!)

Unfortunately, on our way home we were side-swiped by a 20-something guy in a big truck. He said he just couldn't see us in his mirror because of the rain. John noticed how incredibly dark the tinting was on his windows and thinks that might have contributed. We were in my red car and there's a big dent on the driver's side with a corresponding scratch all the way down the side of it. Not fun! I love my car! The kid has insurance but also works at a Ford Dealership and said he could get it fixed for us this weekend. If we don't hear from him you know we'll be calling up his insurance company asap. But no one was hurt and we're just glad it wasn't worse.

I will be headed to Kansas City tonight and should arrive about the same time the snow storm does! They're predicting 4-6 inches of the stuff! I may bring along my camera and take some pictures. I'll be home late Tuesday night. Please pray I don't get stuck in Kansas City because of the snow and that me and the baby have a safe trip!
