Randi & CJ Aren't the Only Ones Who Saw Snow!

I got home last night from my trip to Kansas City. Getting there, our flight was delayed because of high winds in Dallas so we didn't get to our hotel until almost 11pm. We spent most of yesterday at Banta Publications doing a press check for Sally Beauty magazine. It's a lot of waiting around, but it was a fun time. I went with my friend Shaneen, our Account Services Director at work, and I feel very fortunate that I work with good people. Even our friends at the printer couldn't have been nicer. They took us to lunch in downtown LIberty, Missouri since the printer is actually in Liberty. We even passed Liberty Jail which was cool, but I've been there before.

I was sad to be away from home, but it was still a really good experience. I took some pictures of the snow with my phone since I forgot my camera. Ben didn't seem too happy to be at the press check, but mostly because when you're on the floor of the press room it's VERY loud. Imagine being inside a Wal-mart with aluminum walls and concrete floors, but there are no groceries, just 8 fifteen foot high web presses all running at once! My ears were ringing all day.
