Our Porch

As many of you know, our porch has been near falling down probably since we moved in. Our downstairs neighbor alerted us to it sometime around April or May of this year because the rot on the support post had gotten worse from the rainfall off the roof. The drainage system at our condos isn't the best, they don't have the gutters in the right places to keep water off the buildings, or from concentrating in one spot. Which is why the wood rotted out. So finally after hounding the office about it for long enough, they're FINALLY fixing it! They started Tuesday and will probably finish up today. We're excited to use our porch again. We've been keeping off of it as much as possible so as not to make the problem worse. I will post pictures of the process, but we didn't get a good before shot. And we didn't have to pay for it, it's covered by the HOA.
