It's been a looong week

I feel bad that I haven't posted much lately. It's been one of the busiest weeks EVER with shipping out the very first issue of The Land Report. It's the start-up magazine that I'm Production Manager of and I'm excited about it. It's "The Magazine of the American Landowner" and is completely unique, there's no other magazine out there like it. I'll be sure and bring around some copies once it's back from the printer in a week or two.

Needless to say I've had some late evenings staying at work to finish. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who loves being home with Ben, and I'm also thankful Ben is such a good kid! After hunting down a late FedEx pick-up location last night (which entailed actually parking infront of a FedEx truck and handing my package to the driver because I couldn't find the box!) I got home around 8:30 and am glad for this week to be finally over today.

Our regular babysitter is back in town and her husband is officially looking for another job, all the traveling is just too much. He's a CPA if anyone knows of anything! It's nice to back on our normal routine and hopefully things will slow down for a week or two. Ben is doing great these days. He's figured out how to chew solid food like those awesome little puffs that Gerber makes, but still only has two teeth. He hasn't really tried walking at all, he just loves crawling. He had so much fun at Suzy's house when we went to borrow her car because their house is so big and nice and open, he didn't even mind the ceramic tile. John's going to be selling his Jeep in the next month to get something that gets better gas mileage and is more accomodating to a bigger car seat. He loves his Jeep, but it's a gas guzzler and he decided he'll get a reasonable car now and he can always get a toy to go offroading with later!

I just wanted to update you all on how things are going with us. We're doing well and hope everyone else is too!
