Another Movie Review: Just Like Heaven
I know this isn't a new movie and last night wasn't even the first time I had seen Just Like Heaven. But we put Ben to bed early since he only took a 1 hour nap (which didn't keep him from waking up TWICE last night—darn molars!) and I was running through the stack of dvds trying to pick a movie and this one jumped out at me since I haven't seen it in a really long time. John wasn't thrilled about watching a chick flick, but alas, he agreed. Now, if you've seen this movie the entire time you're probably thinking "this is the cheesiest, most far-out story plot I have ever heard of that I can't believe they got people to actually make it into a movie." Despite that, I love this movie! It's completely unbelievable, but is so sweet and probably the funniest chick flick I have ever seen. John and I both forgot how entirely funny it really is. The writing is so great and it wouldn't be nearly as funny if Mark Ruffalo wasn't so great at reactions. I'm surprised he's not in more movies, he was really great. Now, Reese Witherspoon is a lot like Julia Roberts to me, in that she's the same in most of her movies, but she was still cute. If you're in the mood for a girl movie watch this one. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry and it really is just a great little movie!
Oh, my gosh, I totally love this movie, too. I've been waiting for it to go on sale.
