My Friday Five
1. I'm giving up sweets for 3 months. Since Monday I have lost almost 4 pounds. No joke. I'm getting used to being hungry. And craving Peanut M&Ms. But it's been a week and I am strong. Mandie, you with me?
2. Ben can now open doors. Which means the pantry door, the bathroom door, but luckily not the front door (it's too heavy). We will now be buying some door handle covers for at least 2 doors. He can destroy our tiny pantry in one fail swoop. Do they make anything for trash cans?
3. Today I am very thankful for my pinkie fingers. A guy that prints our media kits who I've formed a comraderie with has a 22-year old son that recently lost his pinkie finger and the tip of his thumb in a lawn mowing incident. Ow, yes! And when you lose a pinkie they have to take it off from tip all the way down your hand to that little bone that sticks out on your wrist because the fatty tissue will hinder your ring finger. Weird! But today I am very grateful that I have both my pinkies!
4. My sister is having a baby today! You wouldn't know it by looking her, darn you Melinda! But I hope that all is going well and that the new little boy will be as cute as Tommy. But we still don't know what his name will be! You never told us! I'm just hoping Ben behaves himself at the hospital tomorrow and that Melinda doesn't have a 14-hour labor like I did when I was enduced!
5. Today is my friend's last day at work. I am sad to see him go. Hopefully he will keep in touch and I will be able to see him be successfull somewhere else! I think I really only want him to be happy! I bought him some peanut M&Ms because they're his favorite, but I will not eat any! I swear!
