Channeling Our Neighbors

Last night John and I were sitting on the couch watching TV when the baby monitor started flickering it's red lights. I said that was weird because the base unit was plugged in, but I had turned it off. John looked at me with that "yeah right" kind of expression, So we walked over to it and turned it up and we heard a man talking. I was puzzled and John looks at me and says that it's our downstairs neighbor and it sounds like he is on the phone. He was talking about someone being in the hospital and how they were going to have to keep her there to do more bloodwork. John and I look at each other and decide it's way too weird and we don't want to hear anymore so John turned the monitor off. Now how is it possible for interference to come through like that? Very strange!
