Subject Changer

I'm sitting her at my computer and Ben's in watching cartoons. I realized when Handy Manny started earlier, that back when I worked at D, the start of Handy Manny was my cue to be out of the house and on the way to the babysitter. Fast forward to the present and now when My Friends Tigger and Pooh starts, that's my cue to be out of the house. I should really be out of the house sooner than that. But considering there is an hour and a half difference between those two shows, I don't always leave exactly when I need to. I'm waking up a lot earlier these days and I think Ben and I are still adjusting to the new schedule.

But one amazing perk of working for a school disctrict is the time off. Now, we didn't have a vaca policy at D, but that never worked in anyone's favor because no one took enough time off. Now? When there are days off, you take them. So I get two weeks and one day off over the break and I am so excited! I'm going to plan lots of fun things for me and Ben to do and John and I are even considering going somewhere for our anniversary. So I think I can take all of the early mornings if it means I can spend some quality time with my family!

I'll try and take some pics of Ben today since I haven't posted any in a really long time! But in the meantime here are two John took of an amazing sunrise the other morning. The pictures really don't do it justice!

The pictures are very pretty, but don't you mean sunrise instead of sunset?

Ahhh, 2 weeks of vacation; gotta love it. I also get 2 weeks off and am looking forward to every minute of it. I hope that you and Ben get a lot of fun activities in.

How fun! Ben is such a good mix of you and John! Very cute little boy! I know another little boy that got that Zebra toy and he loves it too!! Maybe I'll have to get one! Happy Holidays!
