Success!
For nearly 4 days (or maybe even more because I've lost track) Ben has been 100% without his pacifier. Even at nap and bedtime! Sometimes he has to cry it out without it at night if he's really tired (like tonight) but overall he's done really well. We'll probably wait a week or two before throwing them away. I really thought he would do worse with this, but he's done awesome. He's even talking in his own sentences (that only make sense to him of course) so I'm also hoping for an improvement in his language development now that he's not plugged up all the time! I'm crossing my fingers he'll be this cooperative at potty training time! That's totally wishful thinking...
He looks a lot cuter with out that thing in his mouth too!!!
Yay!!! At least you can take the pacifier away. Madyson sucks her thumb. How do I make her stop...um, without cutting her thumb off?! SHE IS THREE AND STILL DOES IT!!!!

yay!!! But he looks so cute with it!!! I guess this means he's growing up!! not a baby anymore:(
I know he totally looks cute with his pacifier (though cuter without it!) I think that's the only part I miss is that it means he's not a baby anymore! I'm sure a lot of people that have seen him with it recently probably think we're the worst parents because he looks older than he is. Oh well! Not anymore!
And Mubeen, the thumb sucking is a tough one! I always wished Ben could self-soothe but now I guess I'm glad he doesn't! She'll grow out of it I'm sure. Especially when she's in Sunbeams and in school which isn't too far away!!
