If you didn't watch the Super Bowl....

.... at least take a few minutes to watch 18-year-old American Idol winner Jordin Sparks singing the National Anthem. It was awesome.

The performance however... I kind of thought it looked like she was lip-synching.
Missy – (February 05, 2008 7:39 PM): I honestly don't think she did. No one has lip synched since Whitney did it the last time she sang at the Super Bowl.
Julie{isCocoandCocoa} – (February 05, 2008 8:04 PM): While watching I couldn't think of a reason for her to lip-synch. She was on American Idol and the whole thing is live. But every time they did a close-up of her mouth I thought it looked funny. Maybe it was just a slight delay from her singing to the sound coming out of the sound system.
Unknown – (February 05, 2008 10:32 PM): I'm pretty sure that was live. The accompaniment was, so maybe that makes it seem that way. She was awesome.
Jenny – (February 06, 2008 4:45 PM): I guess it would have been a little inappropriate for Blake Lewis to have beat-boxed the National Anthem, but he was still my AI. Jordan's got pipes, though, there's no denying it.
