Our Gulf Coast Weekend #2

Sunday morning we all headed to church for Carson's baby blessing. It's a really big ward with lots of small kids so we fit in pretty well. Ben, again, did great at church! And Kenny gave Carson such a sweet blessing. I still can't believe my hyper little nephew is all grown up and now a DAD! After church we headed to Texas' parent's house for brunch of waffles, cinnamon rolls, and all other sorts of goodies. You can see now why it was so hard to stay on WW through the weekend! I'm definitely paying the price for it this week!

We headed home around 12:30 so Ben could nap and we could get home at a decent hour. We made it back to Arlington by 4:30 even after getting stuck in ANOTHER accident. Luckily there was a good spot to get on to the access road so it didn't delay us nearly as much! In honor of Ben's really great behavior all weekend we took him to CiCi's to celebrate since he loves CiCi's!

We had a really great weekend and are now looking forward to doing more fun things like that. We know Ben does well on the road so we're going to try and plan for something else to do soon! Lake Travis in Austin is totally calling my name so hopefully we'll have a little family vacation there in the Fall!
