Pretty Things
Taking a lead from my sister, Mandie, I headed to Ross the other day to look at shoes, purses, etc. I've been wanting a torquoise/blue purse for a while for my need to have a purse I can carry when I wear brown or black. I didn't have any luck at Ross with purses but I did find three super cute things. A really adorable umbrella that I can carry in my purse, a super cute little rip-stop fabric make-up bag and a new camel-colored wallet. I love all three of them!
I found the purse at Target after seeing it online and that it was available at the Target by my work and I went and snatched it up. I had second thoughts after John made fun of me for having a grandma bag AND a couple of older ladies at my nativity meeting thought the bag was so cute. And then I nearly wanted to take it back this morning when we were getting ready to leave the house and Ben walks over to my purse that was hanging on the pantry door and touches it and says "Grandma's purse!" SIGH. I still think it's really cute. Please tell me I'm not carrying a grandma bag!
And last but not least the little book is actually a photo album/brag book I got on clearance at Target for $2. Now I just need to take advantage of all the free prints from those online stores and fill it up! 
Cute stuff, Missy! And I think the purse is ADORABLE! I want to buy a really big purse, but I'm afraid people will accuse me of carrying a "grandma" bag--I just don't think I can go back to carrying a small bag ever again!
Ben is just saying that Grandma has good taste, like his momma!

From what I can see, the bag looks great! It is a fabulous color, and the detailing on the front looks so cute! and that makeup bag is ADORABLE! great finds!
That is so NOT a "grandma" purse. Remember, you are dealing with a man and a two year old boy. What do they know? No offense, guys. It's totally cute. I'm jealous. Besides, "grandma" is in. Just in case.

I really can't see much of the purse, but what I can see of it is cute. I can't bring myself to carry a big purse. It reminds me too much of a diaper bag, so when I go out without the kids, I carry a tiny purse! I totally need a new one, though.
