The haircut I didn't know I wanted

Yesterday before we went to see Kelli at the hospital with new baby Corgan, I had to get a haircut. It's grown pretty long and is all stringy and I'd already planned to get it cut before our pictures on Friday. I was going to go to Ulta again, but the timing just didn't work out. Luckily I got off early yesterday since I was doing some training at one of the campuses that's next door to where Ben goes to school. I dropped Ben off at home with John around 4:30 and I went to the Style America down the street from us. I go there almost every time I get my hair cut. Same old same old. I told the girl I wanted it shorter, to rest right on my shoulders. I guess "right on my shoulders" to her meant "just below the chin." I mean, I know I have a short neck, but COME ON! She cut it SO short. I kind of freaked out and headed home to give it a proper blow dry and flat iron and decided that I kind of really like it. Way shorter than I've had it in years, but it's growing on me. John likes it, and it'll look good with what I'm wearing in our pictures, so I guess I really can't complain!

And no, my hair isn't naturally THAT red. My hair gets browner and browner and duller and duller every year. SIGH. I can thank Clairol Perfect 10 for that shade, and for my wonderful husband for coloring it for me. ;)
