Pumpkin Patch-o-Drama

Went to the pumpkin patch tonight. It was the last chance we'd have before it closes on Friday. It's been a weird day full of unavoidable frustrations which seemed to culminate at the patch and we left in a hurried frenzy. Traffic on the way there, miscommunication about dinner and then Ben decides to throw a tantrum to end all tantrums when it was time to get out of the bounce house. This coming from a kid who wouldn't set foot in a bounce house a few months ago. He sat in there and screamed for about 10 minutes till I finally gave in and crawled in after him. He cried all the way to the car and halfway to dinner. I didn't get any kettle corn. Pumpkins at the patch were sparse. We were tired. In hindsight though, it wasn't all that bad. We got to talk a lot in the car in traffic and listen to some Coldplay. We got outside and did something rather than sitting at home and I did get some cute pics of Ben before his evil twin took over. And he better be glad he's cute, or we might have rung his little neck! If I have time I'll post a few pictures more tomorrow.

P.S. I swear that is pretty much the cutest sweater I have ever seen. I might just make him wear it every day!
