Happy Birthday, John!

Yes I know this post is late as John's birthday was yesterday! We had a great weekend full of lots of celebrating. Friday night my mom watched Ben for us (and they had fun going to CiCi's and playing Play-Doh) so we could go out! We headed to downtown Fort Worth to eat at PF Chang's and it was great. PF Chang's holds a special place in our heart. :) We had intended to go to a movie as well but dinner ran late so we browsed Barnes and Noble for a while and got a wild hair to go buy all of Ben's Christmas presents. We'd been saving our money to go shopping for his presents and decided to just do it! We had a lot of fun picking out the things we'd think he would like and it was perfect to do it by ourselves which we rarely get to do!

Saturday we spent most of the day hanging out watching movies and taking pictures. I love that John comes with me on photo shoots because he takes lots of pictures of Ben, and he does such a great job! We stayed up late again watching the Bourne trilogy while I made brownies for his birthday lunch at my mom's on Sunday. My mom always makes people the dinner they request on their birthday and John wanted me to make brownies that Linda Larsen made once that were so good! They were the single most expensive (and largest) pan of brownies I have ever made but probably the best! I highly recommend them, but be warned they are so good you will eat WAY too many. And with 1lb of butter, they're not easy on the waistline!
