Back to Reality
It's official. I'm at work and Ben is at school. John's working and prepping for school to start soon. We're back to the grind and loved our two weeks off from the real world! Here's a short recap:
Not having to work for two weeks was sweetness.
Buying presents for and receiving presents from loved ones = total awesomeness.
Moving Christmas dinner to the church was genius.
My uncle playing Santa was priceless.
Watching a 2.5 year old on Christmas morning was wondrous.
Eating more in 1 month than I do in 6 was scrumptious.
Now having to starve and work off that month of food will be ruthless.
(Finally back to blogging at W3!)
Trying to get any kind of actual work done in the past two weeks was pointless.
Taking tons of pictures? Obvious.
Not feeling the urgent need to blog them all was joyous.
(I'll be concentrating some time and effort here in the next few weeks!)
Spending extra time with friends, family, and especially Ben, was precious.
And getting 2 full days with just me and my John was glorious.
The last half hour of Marley and Me was really sad, but monotonous.
(Sorry, I'm just not a dog person!)
Waking up at 6:00am this morning was torturous.
