To cut or not to cut?

I've been growing my hair out for almost 6 months. Maybe longer? It's gotten really long, probably close to as long as it has ever been. Honestly, that's not saying much though. My hair grows excruciatingly slow! And it gets really straggly the longer it gets. But John's always wanted me to grow it out so I figured why not?
Only now that it's getting longer I'm starting to feel the itch to cut it. I've always had short hair and I think it suits my chubby face better than longer hair. Then I see people who have hair much longer than mine and I think I should keep growing it! What do you think? Sorry I don't have a picture. I haven't put mascara on yet so maybe later today I'll post one!
Decisions, decisions...
I just went through this exact thing!! You know I have always had short hair too. Mine is passed shoulder length now, but needed a style other than just long. So I got it cut, but didn't take any length off other than split ends. I figured I could always cut more later if I wanted. I still love short hair and will probably end up cutting it, but it is fall/winter so I will stick it out until after the holidays and see how I feel then. Maybe you could do that! I want to see your long hair, you should post a pic!

Keep it longer for a little while to earn some good-wife points. Maybe you'll like it once you can put it into a cute sloppy pony tail!
I think your hair looks really cute short, but it might be nice for a change. I know that when my face is round, like now, I think it looks better long. My husband also likes the long hair. I've found with lots of little kids, it is nice to be able to do pony tails.
I agree that I need to see a picture, perhaps one with short hair too to compare.
But I understand my hair grows sooo slow and I don't know what to do with it.
I like mine long because it takes too long to fix when it's short. But I have the cutting urge a lot, too. Sometimes a new color does the trick!
