The Joys of Parenting
On Sunday during Sacrament meeting Ben was sitting on my lap looking at a book. I thought I smelled something that might be a poopy diaper so I pulled back his jeans and diaper to see if there was anything suspicious. As soon as I did it I burst out laughing (as loud as you can during Sacrament!) and pulled John over to look. Inside the back of his diaper was half of an orange crayon. So, whatever kid that did that during nursery has a sneaky sense of humor. (cough! cough! ewan! cough!)
At least it wasn't one that he had eaten! What on earth was going through the other kid's head?
Hey now! LOL. I think Ewan is finally past his rampant jealousy of Ben. He even acted excited when I asked him about Ben in nursery. Then again, maybe that was less excitement and more amusement over something I didn't know...
I was just kidding about Ewan. I was just trying to think of someone in nursery that would even have the forethought to do something like that and I though of him! We thought it was hilarious and kept imagining one of the kids peeking over to see his diaper open and going "Hm... A crayon would fit in there!" And then actually doing it!
Ha! Ha! Ha! That's so funny!
Oh, I know you were kidding. Could you imagine that same kid later, looking all around, "I swear I just had a crayon around here somewhere..."
What color did you say that crayon was?
I was picturing a crayon that passed through him.
I was wondering what was so funny over there!
That is really funny.
