Blog of the Week

I am one of those people that likes to click on random commenter's names on Pioneer Woman to see their blogs. Weird, right? Well today I clicked on a lady who just happens to be working with her daughter and sister-in-law on renovating a 16,000 sq ft church in Dallas into a residence. I'm not joking! Check out her blog for all the fascinating stuff, but here are a couple of amazing highlights!

Is this supposed to be a single family residence? I have always thought it would be fun to renovate a building into a house but this is a little over my head (and budget)! Very interesting!

That's crazy. I think it would feel creepy and not homey at all to live in such open spaces.

I saw a thing once about a woman who did that with a lighthouse. That's totally cool, but I think I'd feel a little weird living in a church...

I have so many ideas for that house. I've always wanted a zipline, and that would be the best place for one. I'm also picturing an indoor pool with a waterslide that winds around the whole house. Oh yeah, and remember that game a couple of years ago where after three quarters Kobe had outscored the entire mavs team 62-61? Good times.

That is cool... and weird... and creepy. I love the lighthouse idea though, I would love that.
