Got a little verklempt going through these pictures while listening to this song. Love this kid. I also saw my neighbor in his underwear while we were outside playing when I took these. They're on the 1st floor and had their blinds open. Their dog started barking through the window at Ben and he came over to shut the blinds. My eyes! My eyes!
This is how little boys like to play with Playdoh, especially when Mom's making flowers. And Ben still LOVES to play peekaboo, especially in the car.
The first two pics are of Rocket. He didn't make it through the night last night. I mean come on! We had him for 2 days! Little Kiddo is alive and well. John doesn't have work or school today because of the ice (lucky!!) so he returned Rocket to PetsMart for a replacement (they have a 14-day policy for people like me who can't keep fish alive!)
And last but not least. The monster face makes a return. Followed by one of the weird downfalls of having a kid in school/day care. Anytime there's a substitute they put these little labels on all the kids backs. I find it so impersonal but I guess it's that or they get called the wrong names all day! And I have to remember to take it off before I wash that shirt. ;)
*Update*
Here's a pic of my replacement fish John picked up this morning. Purdy, ain't he?
Love that song. Love that kid. Sorry Rocket didn't make it through the night. The replacement fish is really pretty, though!
Aw...poor rocket! I guess the reason he was swimming so fast was because he was livin' it up before he died! Oh well. Cute pics of Ben, and yuck about your neighbor!
That's unusual for a Beta fish. They typically last a while.
wheew! I thought I was the only one who couldn't keep a darn gold fish alive!!!! How do they live so long at the pet store?!!
Oooo! Sorry you had to be exposed by your neighbor! But at least you were able to enjoy some outside time with Ben!
At least its not like at the 24hr fitness daycare where they assign your kid a number. When you come to pick them up they yell out your number and someone starts looking on the backs of kids for the right number. Luckily, we've been there almost every day, so they know Carter by name.
Oh, and Ben is "take your breath away" adorable, as usual. :)
Nice replacement fish. So, I am on my second beta. The first one died after we had him for 2 1/2 years while my mom was watching him. I think she gave him too much attention. Seriously betas seem to do better when you ignore them. My Mom fed him twice a day. I was told beta's really only need to be fed once a day and only need a couple of sprinkles. We have even skipped days and they keep on trekking.
So, that last comment by Kenny was really by Texas. I guess he was already logged in, ooops.
I love the little army man in the Playdoh flowers. And Ben looks adorable playing peekaboo.
